Hey there. I've been into game making since about 2008, but it wasn't until 2014 I was able to complete my first ever game! The game was started and finished in a single week for a contest. In one week I was able to do what I struggled with for 6 years. 6 WHOLE YEARS. HILARIOUS ISN'T IT.

I didn't mind this game i've played much worse. But when a story still can't get me interested after 4 hours, Its not for me. Some characters were OK. I hated Fran, everytime she opened her mouth, I just didn't care what she had to say. It was cool having a non-human character, but it should have been a Moogle instead. We haven't had one of them since 6! Its criminal!

Man Stuck in Elevator for 41 hours!
Oh man, you'd get so bored looking at the same four walls. The worse thing is needing the toilet, what you gonna do then. You can't inside elevator.

I thought this game was called "Its a Wonderful World?" Or is this like a sequal. Oh I dunno. It does look cool thought. A very welcome change!

RPG MAKER 2000 - Still Kicking

On average, I would say most of the people in the RPGmaker community have RM2k. Its easier to get ahold of, its been around longer and its free and most people are too cheap to pay for VX (Me). While VX is probably better in terms of doing a solo or proper project, for a simple community project it is not. (I say simple, I mean DBS and default fuctions).
This site does not condone the use of a pirated copy of RPG Maker 2000, which is pretty much every copy people have. I am very pleased to see that RMXP and RMVX are for actual sale in English. I don't want this place requiring a criminal activity for the "entrance exam".

I won't join in because of RM2k as well. While I accept the fact people still want to use it, it is definitely showing its age.
The technology allowed in RMVX is not "pointless". You can make RMVX do things that you never could in RM2k. I find that your rationale is similar to a company that would decide to continue making N64 games when the Wii is available. They can both make games. But one of those systems is far more capable of a medium.
Either way, I would suggest we get people signed up for this and start figuring out the core ideas for it.
